You may be in love with a man who decided to end your relationship and hope one day he changes his mind. You may be currently with a man who refuses to commit to you, lies to you, cheats on you, or is emotionally unavailable to you, and you hope he changes his mind. You may be in a friends with benefits relationship, or one with no labels or boundaries, and hope one day he will change his mind and want more.
Why haven’t YOU changed YOUR mind and dropped this loser? What has gotten into your mind that you think his behavior is acceptable or what you deserve? What can you do to change your mind and see him for who he really is, and know that you deserve better than him?
Instead of hoping his change will come someday, use that time to try to change yourself and your perception of your relationship with him. How can you love, trust or want to be with someone who treats you like shit, without respect, and does not make you happy? You did everything right to make him want to step up to the plate and do the right thing by you. It did not work. He didn’t change. He is still selfish, self-centered, hard to get along with, etc. You have been unhappy for a long time now, thanks to him. Has that changed for the better? No? Well then it is time to stop focusing on him changing his mind and doing what is right for you, and it is time for YOU to change and do what is right by you.
He chose to cheat, lie, steal, withdraw emotionally and/or sexually, treat you bad, communicate like crap, and not do what he needs to so your relationship can work for both of you. His mind is MADE UP.
Now it is time for you to make your mind up. Stop using the excuse to stay in a dysfunctional relationship because you are waiting for him to change his mind. Either accept that the change won’t come anytime soon or get out.
If you are waiting for someone who ended things with you, disappeared, or left you for someone else you shouldn’t wait one minute longer for him to change his mind. Make up your mind that even if he wants to come back, you are going to let him deal with the consequences of his actions. If he changes his mind, who cares? You should be long gone, and he should be too late.

Sometimes you just have to let go of someone instead of wasting year after year on them.
I have a question or 2, instead of a comment. What are your views on twin flame unions? Im in a dysfunctional twin flame relationship with my ex boyfriend turned roommate. Thank you for your advice and support
It is my belief that twin flames don’t have dysfunctional relationships, but soul mates do.
